The Herzogliches Museum Gotha, which is located in Gotha, a historic town in the Thuringia region of Germany, is showcasing a unique exhibition that brings together Chinese gold artifacts and Gotha's treasures in a remarkable cultural exchange.

The exhibition, running from Saturday to January 2026, marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and the European Union.

This exhibition features rare pieces of Chinese gold from Xi'an Qujiang Museum of Fine Arts, in Xi'an, Shaanxi province. The display includes 79 pieces of intricate jewelry, ceremonial items, and other artifacts that highlight the skill and artistry of ancient Chinese goldsmiths from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
