Infrastructure growth in Xizang universities highlighted
Champa Yangjen, a deputy to the Xizang Autonomous Regional People's Congress and vice-president of Xizang University, said the infrastructure improvement in universities reflects the high-quality development of education in the Xizang autonomous region in recent years, Xizang TV reported.
Almost all institutions in Xizang now have new campuses constructed recently, Champa Yangjen said during the third session of the 12th People's Congress of the Xizang Autonomous Region this week.
Champa Yangjen stated that building a strong teaching team is essential for education.
"With the aim of promoting the spirit of educators and developing outstanding teachers, efforts need to be intensified to broaden the channels of professional development," she said.
