Symposium held to discuss study outline on Xi Jinping Thought on Culture
BEIJING -- A symposium was held on Monday to discuss a newly published outline for studying Xi Jinping Thought on Culture.
Li Shulei, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended the symposium and delivered a speech.
Xi Jinping Thought on Culture is the fundamental guideline for the development of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics in the new era, attendees of the symposium said.
The outline serves as an authoritative supplementary reading for Party members, officials, and the public to study and understand the Thought, and will help promote the study and implementation of the Thought, they said.
The attendees also highlighted the need to deepen research and interpretation of the Thought to produce more high-standard academic results that reflect China's position and can effectively engage in dialogues with the international academic community.
