"As a large country within the developing world, China takes pride in its influence and role. However, we recognize the importance of not only advocating for China's interests but also those of all developing nations.
Most significantly, we must uphold global cooperation and multilateralism. Our objectives are well-defined, and our aspirations are lofty, notwithstanding the significant challenges that lie ahead," stated China's Climate Envoy Liu Zhenmin at the ongoing COP29 UN climate change conference.
