Overturned fire truck kills 5 in Pingli

Five people were killed and another one was injured when a fire truck overturned while performing official duties in Pingli county, Shaanxi province, on Friday.
According to a report from China Central Television, two fire fighters were killed on the spot while the other three died after arriving at a nearby hospital.
Rescue and medical workers are helping treat the wounded and coping with the aftermaths affairs.
The tragedy took place on local Baishi highway at about 10 am when the fire truck overturned while it was running to the county's Baxian township in line of duty, it said.
Baishi highway nearby is a deep mountain valley, it added.
An investigation of the accident is still continuing as of Saturday morning.
