Stable electricity supply ensured for farmers in Tianchang

In Tianchang, a county-level city of Chuzhou in Anhui province, farmers are busy drying and storing grains. However, the ongoing hot weather poses a serious threat to the normal operation of the grain dryers, as well as other agricultural equipment.
Against such a backdrop, the local power supplier has further improved electrical maintenance and ramped up efforts to ensure a stable power supply.
The State Grid's Chuzhou Power Supply Co said it has dispatched workers to regularly visit its clients, measure the temperature of electrical equipment and eliminate potential hazards.
The company said it has instructed clients to use electricity more safely and provides them with consulting services 24/7.
Efforts have also been made to collect the needs of the clients and explain the latest electricity pricing policies to them, the company added.
Manor Lake Group, which focuses on processing and selling agricultural products, is one of the company's main clients.
Manor Lake said its grain drying, inspection, storage and security systems are all fully automated and have led to a high demand for electricity.
According to Manor Lake, the power supplier's recent moves help ensure its safe production and could further advance the agricultural modernization in Tianchang.
The company said it will continue to keep a close eye on the progress of drain drying in the city and cooperate with the local government to better serve the farmers.
