Senior official of Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League Central Committee under investigation

Li Yuefeng, executive vice-chairman of the Central Committee of Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League, is being investigated for suspected serious duty-related violations, China's top anti-corruption authority said on Saturday.
The information about the investigation was disclosed by the National Commission of Supervision online.
The TDSL, founded on Nov 12, 1947, now has about 3,400 members and is one of the eight non-communist parties that participate in state affairs under the leadership of the CPC.
Li, a ministerial-level official who was born in 1958, is also a member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress, the country's top legislative body.
In addition, Li worked for the NPC's Supervisory and Judicial Affairs Committee, as well as the NPC Standing Committee's Credentials Committee.
