Pudong hosts event to encourage and celebrate foreigners' integration into the area

Nearly 600 individuals, including Pudong district governmental officials, enterprise executives and expat residents, gathered on Saturday to celebrate the 2024 event of Foreigners Integration into Pudong.

Co-hosted by the public security bureau and the women's federation of Pudong New Area and guided by the office of Overseas Personnel Administration of Pudong New Area, the event aims to inspire more foreigners to come, live and integrate in Pudong.

Besides a plethora of vibrant cultural and artistic performances, including choir and band, a Ukulele performance, and a piano solo, a service package that provides comprehensive service guide for expats living and working in Pudong was launched during the event.

At the same time, the upgraded version of foreign permanent resident identity cards for recommended foreign executives and high-level talents in Pudong were issued on-site, with which they can handle procedures of transportation, life and consumption, as well as finance through the internet platforms.

As a key hub for Shanghai's foreign residents, Pudong constantly manifests the foreign talent agglomeration effect and optimizes the living and working environments for foreigners.
