Shanghai in my mind - collocation of artwork from across the world

"Shanghai in My Mind", an activity to collect pieces from designers and creatives from different parts of the world to express Shanghai in various art forms was launched in Shanghai on Wednesday.
The activity will send invitations to designers and creatives from around the world to join. An event will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, on Friday as the first stop overseas to invite international designers to join.
The activity was announced at an event to promote Shanghai's international communication projects, which was held at the ongoing 6th China International Import Expo.
The event was guided by the publicity department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and was hosted by the news office of the Shanghai municipal government. It focuses on the new practices, explorations and achievements of telling China's stories and Shanghai's charm to the world.
IP SHANGHAI, a platform for sharing resources of the city's image, and "Shanghai let's meet", Shanghai's official English account on overseas social platforms, introduced their recent developments at the event.
The account of "Shanghai let's meet" was launched in November last year, and has attracted more than 300,000 followers.
Two major products to provide news information to expats in Shanghai - City News Service (CNS) and "ShanghaiEye" - operated by the International Communication Center of Shanghai United Media Group and Shanghai Media Group International have also been upgraded to provide more precise and abundant news and local information service, as well as to help expats to be better integrated into life in Shanghai.
