International students thrive at Chifeng University in Inner Mongolia
Chifeng University in Inner Mongolia autonomous region has been admitting international students since 2012, with a focus on studying clinical medicine and Chinese language and literature programs. Currently, there are 131 international students studying at the college, among which 94 are from Pakistan. In addition, there are 201 Pakistani graduates from the college.
International students at the college work to master the professional knowledge and skills required for clinical medicine, and also attend diverse range of cultural activities to experience China's traditional culture from multiple perspectives. One such cultural activity is a contest called Reading China, a program for reading or reciting Chinese classics, in which the international students from Chifeng University have won several national awards.
Through engaging in social practices and extracurricular activities, international students have developed an interest in Chinese culture. For many, China has become a second home. Check the video to see more details.
