Former ICBC vice president under investigation

BEIJING - Zhang Hongli, former vice president of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), is under investigation for suspected severe violations of Party discipline and laws, according to an official statement released Saturday.

Zhang, also a former member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) committee of the ICBC, is being investigated by the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Commission of Supervision.
