China Foundation for Human Rights Development convenes council meeting

BEIJING -- The China Foundation for Human Rights Development on Wednesday convened a council meeting in Beijing.
The meeting reviewed and passed a work report from the previous council, a financial audit report, and a five-year development outline for the foundation from 2024 to 2028.
A new council and new leadership were elected at the meeting, with Xie Fuzhan, former president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, elected as the chairman of the council.
Approximately 120 people attended the meeting.
