Zhejiang HSR project of CR24 makes progress

Work on the Jinhua-Jiande High-speed Railway, a project in Zhejiang province, made progress with one of the builders completing casting of a continuous beam above Yuwu Creek in Jiande earlier this month. China Railway 24th Bureau Group Corp, a State contractor, said the beam work has laid a solid foundation for the follow-up task of laying tracks, which will pave the way for project completion on schedule. CR24 said the HSR project will improve links between Zhejiang and the national railway network, and help develop local tourist attractions.

EV charging points up 40% in August

New public charging piles for electric vehicles in China increased nearly 40 percent year-on-year to 61,000 in August, said the China Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance. From September 2022 to August 2023, around 54,000 new piles were built on average each month.
