Gongbei port processes record shipments to Macao

Supplies of fruits and vegetables from the company to Macao exceeded 1,000 tons during the festival, with exports of more than 2.3 million eggs.

In addition to delivering fresh food to Macao every day throughout the year, Gongbei port has also simplified customs clearance by providing green channels for inspection and clearance.

More than 600 tons were supplied to Macao through the port each day, according to Su Changjun, an officer with Zhakou Customs.

"It takes only five minutes from the time of receiving declaration to release, if a truck does not need sampling inspection," Su said.
