Man suspected of killing family of six arrested

A suspect in the murder of a family of six at a village in Dalian, Liaoning province, was arrested, according to local police in Zhuanghe of Dalian.
According to the police bulletin, the incident occurred at around 1:40 am on Friday in Ronghuashan town. The local police immediately carried out investigation work after receiving a report and arrested the suspect, a 53-year-old man surnamed Wang from the town, at around 7 am.
During interrogation, Wang confessed to killing his elder brother and five other members of his brother's family over a family dispute.
The police said the case is under further investigation.
