Former stock exchange officer placed under investigation

Liu Ti, former deputy general manager of Shanghai Stock Exchange, has been placed under investigation on suspicion of serious violations of duties, China's top anti-corruption watchdog said on Friday.
The news was released on the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China and the National Supervisory Commission on Friday.
Liu, 54, a native of Jiangxi province, joined the SSE in 1998 after receiving a doctorate in economics at Fudan University in Shanghai. He became deputy general manager of the SSE in 2019.
