The Beijing Declaration on Jointly Building the "Belt and Road" Early Warnings For All was adopted at a forum in Beijing on Wednesday.

At the Belt and Road Forum on Early Warnings For All and the 50th China Study Tour, the World Meteorological Organization, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China and the China Meteorological Administration signed a cooperation agreement on supporting the United Nations Early Warnings For All Initiative.

Petteri Taalas, secretary general of the World Meteorological Organization, said WMO appreciates China's achievements in meteorological services and South-South cooperation on climate change. China Meteorological Administration has become one of the world's leading meteorological departments.

Chen Zhenlin, head of the CMA, said as an important member of WMO, China has always supported the organization's work.

The China Meteorological Administration is willing to support early warning work for all by sharing experiences in early warning, working with meteorological and hydrological departments of developing countries, and providing support for early warning capacity-building in developing countries under the framework of South-South cooperation, he said.
