China Mobile also unveiled Shunjing — a mobile app that allows users to learn about the culture of Great Wall and "climb" the ancient architecture virtually with their smartphones.
Xia Mingjun, head of culture and tourism bureau of Beijing's Mentougou district, said they will cooperate closely with the institute to transform tourism resources including the Great Wall into digital products, and customers are likely to pay for such digital services.
