Beijing international court launches bilingual website
The Beijing International Commercial Court launched its website in both Chinese and English on Friday to provide high-quality legal services for domestic and foreign litigants.
It is the first bilingual website of a local international commercial court in China.
Opening the website, people can discover which judges are responsible for handling international commercial cases in the court, and they can enjoy easy access to litigation guidelines on the one-stop service platform.
Moreover, information about international exchanges and judicial resources, including notable disputes and judicial interpretations, can also be found on the website to help people understand the court and its efforts in commercial case handling.
To provide a sound environment for litigants worldwide, the court was established in December 2021 after approval from the Supreme People's Court, the country's top court.
The court was set up as a division under the Beijing No 4 Intermediate People's Court, as the intermediate court has specialized in dealing with commercial disputes in the capital involving foreign litigants since 2018.
