New leaders of Bosnia and Herzegovina congratulated
President Xi Jinping congratulated Zeljka Cvijanovic, Zeljko Komsic and Denis Becirovic on Thursday for taking office in the tripartite Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In his congratulatory message, Xi said China's relationship with the Southeastern European country, in the western part of the Balkan Peninsula, has seen steady development in recent years, with solid political mutual trust established and fruitful results achieved in cooperation in various fields.
Xi said he highly values developing China's relations with the country and that he is ready to work with new members of its presidency to keep deepening the traditional friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
He also expressed willingness to join hands with them to bring bilateral ties to a higher level so as to benefit the two countries and their peoples.
The three members of the presidency, elected on Oct 2, took the oath of office on Wednesday.
