On Oct 24, snow fell across the Kalajun Grassland in Xinjiang's Tekes county. Herder Mawulietibek Tahatibek, recorded himself singing pastoral songs as he trekked through the snow with his livestock to return to their settlement. The vast snowy expanse became a picturesque landscape. Winding flocks of sheep moved across the snowy steppe, generating a tableau that was evocative of the Tekes grasslands.
