Moving moments at the Beijing Winter Olympics

Three-time Olympic champion Shaun White of the United States broke down in tears after his final run on Feb 11 in his fifth and last Olympics, in which he missed out on the podium.

The legendary snowboarder White finished in fourth place with 85.00 points in his Beijing 2022 campaign. The ending may not have been perfect, but it was the 35-year-old who received the loudest applause of the day.

"I'm so thankful for my career, thankful to China for having us," White said after the competition.
