Luxury cruise ship for Yangtze River tours delivered in East China

NANJING -- Yangtze 3, a luxury cruise ship for Yangtze River tours, has been delivered in East China's Jiangsu province, according to China Merchants Industry Holdings Co., Ltd.
Delivered in Haimen in the city of Nantong, the cruise ship is approximately 150 meters long and 23 meters wide. It can operate at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and accommodate up to 600 people, according to the ship's manufacturer.
Construction of the ship began last July. It has multiple areas designed for rest and recreation, including a chess and card room, a gym, a movie theatre and an open-air bar.
The vessel is expected to begin service next month, facilitating sightseeing tours on the section of the Yangtze River between the southwestern Chinese city of Chongqing and the central Chinese city of Wuhan.
