The Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Friday said there is no denying the United States' interference in Hong Kong and the fact sheet issued by the Foreign Ministry laid bare US' malicious means and motives in destabilizing the city.

Following sanctions against US individuals and entities and the Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law passed earlier, the fact sheet has demonstrated China's resolve and firm willpower and capability to deter foreign interference, the spokesperson of the Liaison Office said in a statement.

The fact sheet released on Friday comprises five parts, detailing how the US interfered in Hong Kong internal affairs, imposed sanctions to obstruct the implementation of the National Security Law for Hong Kong, made unfounded charges against HKSAR affairs and provided shelter and support for anti-China and destabilizing forces.

The spokesperson stressed that the Chinese nation's great rejuvenation including Hong Kong's journey from chaos to stability, prosperity and sound governance cannot be stopped by any external force. As the city's governance system under "one country, two systems" continues to improve, Hong Kong people will enjoy peace, stability and prosperity in the long run, as will investors from all over the world.

The spokesperson warned the US that all moves to curb China's development by interfering in Hong Kong will prove to be in vain with China's firm determination to safeguard national interests, the spokesperson said.
