China releases new list of wild plants for priority protection

"Over the past years, a few endangered wild plants have seen population growth thanks to conservation methods," said a notice released on the official website of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration.

"However, some others are threatened by human activities such as environmental pollution and overuse. There is an urgent need for a revision," said the notice.
