Ticket prices for China Flower Expo released
Regular tickets for the 10th China Flower Expo in Shanghai's Chongming Island will cost 120 yuan ($18.5) per person per day, authorities in charge of the expo announced on Wednesday.
The expo, which spans 10 square kilometers, will take place on the island from May 21 to July 2. It will comprise a core flower exhibition zone with 180 outdoor gardens and two service zones.
There are also designated day tickets and two-day weekday tickets as well. Both cost 180 yuan per person.
Tourists will enjoy pre-sale prices if purchasing the tickets before the opening of the expo. A discounted regular ticket will cost at least 100 yuan, and discounted designated day ticket and a two-day ticket on weekdays will cost a minimum of 160 yuan.
Children under 1.3 meters in height or under 6 years old can visit the expo for free. Senior citizens over 60 years old, students, active-duty military personnel, firefighters, and the disabled will enjoy discounts.
