For the oldest stock investor in Shanghai, investment is just for fun

Zhou Hongbao is possibly the oldest stock market investor in Shanghai.
The 104-year-old first started investing in the 1990s. To date, she has earned 100,000 yuan ($15,362) in profit from her initial capital of 3,000 yuan, according to local news portal Shanghai Observer.
Zhou told the media that she hardly cares about the fluctuations of trading prices. Monitoring market information on her television is simply a way of killing time.
"It's normal that the stocks rise and fall. The stock market is just like the food market. I usually buy stocks that are cheap," she said, adding that she does not understand stock analysis and macroeconomies.
Zhou said she is proud of her earnings from the market, and told the media that her fridge, air conditioner and even her eye operation was paid for using her stock profits.
"There are so many companies listed in the market now, and I only pay attention to those I am familiar with," she said. "For me, investment is just for fun."
