2 more coronavirus cases emerge in Shanghai
Pudong district's health commission reported two local suspected coronavirus cases on Friday afternoon, and both of them were confirmed at 9 pm by the city's disease control and prevention center.
The two cases include a 39-year-old man and his 34-year-old wife. The couple got higher body temperatures and went to the fever clinic for treatment. They were quarantined immediately and accepted examination.
The city and Pudong district have organized an expert team to conduct a complete investigation of the cases. More information and test results of related persons will be disclosed to the public as soon as possible.
Shanghai reported a local confirmed case on Nov 9: a 51-year-old man contracted the coronavirus and was transferred to Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center, the city's designated hospital to treat COVID-19 cases.
