Xi: Multilateralism will prevail over unilateralism

History has proved and will continue to prove that good, neighborly friendship will go beyond a beggar-thy-neighbor approach, mutually beneficial cooperation will take over the zero-sum game, and multilateralism will prevail over unilateralism, President Xi Jinping said.
Xi made the remark when addressing the 20th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization via video on Tuesday.
People of various countries have a stronger yearning for better lives, and the trend of peace, development, cooperation and win-win cooperation is irresistible, Xi added.
