7 killed, 2 injured in Guangdong construction accident

Seven people were killed and two were injured after the supporting structure for cement placing on the roof of a building under construction collapsed in Luhe county, Shanwei, in South China's Guangdong province on Thursday morning.
One person was seriously injured and the other had light injuries. The accident happened in Shuichun township at about 10:50 am, according to the county government.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
