"Heroes in Harm's Way", the first TV series detailing the national fight against the coronavirus pandemic, was formally introduced in Beijing on Monday and will hit prime time on CCTV-1 on Thursday.

In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, Party officials, medical workers, researchers, community workers and volunteers devoted themselves to the fight on the front lines on an epic scale, and many touching stories have emerged.

Adapted from these stories, the series chronicles seven individual stories that demonstrate the spirit of unity and solidarity of the Chinese people.
