Brescia midfielder Romulo eyeing Brazil return

RIO DE JANEIRO - Brescia midfielder Romulo could return to his native Brazil during the next transfer window and has nominated Internacional as his preferred destination.
Romulo's contract with Brescia expires on June 30 and the 32-year-old revealed he is already fielding offers from clubs in Europe and Brazil.
"My heart always beats a bit faster when thinking about Brazil," Romulo told Brazilian sports news service Globo Esporte.
"I'll be a free agent at the end of June. There has been some interest [from clubs] in Europe and also Brazil. Let's wait and see."
Romulo said he supported Internacional before joining the youth academy of their Rio Grande do Sul state rivals Caxias. His 15-year professional career has also included spells with Juventus, Fiorentina, Verona, Genoa and Lazio.
