Flamengo boss Jorge Jesus cleared after coronavirus fears

RIO DE JANEIRO - Flamengo's Portuguese head coach Jorge Jesus has tested negative for the coronavirus, two days after an initial exam drew an inconclusive result.
"The new test conducted on coach Jorge Jesus has come back negative for COVID-19," the Brazilian club said on Twitter.
The 65-year-old had been in quarantine for almost a week after Flamengo's vice president Mauricio Gomes de Mattos, was found to have contracted the virus.
On Monday, the Rio de Janeiro outfit said the result of Jesus's first test was "weak positive or inconclusive".
Former Benfica and Sporting Lisbon manager Jesus joined Flamengo last June and led the club to the Brazilian Serie A-Copa Libertadores double in his first season.
Flamengo currently lead Group B of the Rio Cup, which is in the midst of a two-week recess enforced by Rio's football federation because of the coronavirus.
