BEIJING -- A free online learning platform for primary and secondary school students studying at home during the COVID-19 outbreak has been upgraded to further enrich its resources and promote the all-round development of students.

The upgraded learning platform features 10 sections, including epidemic prevention education, moral education, mental health education, classic literature and digital teaching materials, from which students can voluntarily choose to learn, according to China's Ministry of Education.

The platform was launched on Feb 17 and covers the 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland.
