A 67-day-old baby on Saturday became China's youngest novel coronavirus pneumonia patient to be cured and discharged from hospital so far.
The baby girl was 55 days old when she was diagnosed with the disease in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Feb 2. She went to Hubei province together with her parents to spend the Spring Festival holiday. Her parents were also infected and diagnosed in late January.
Doctors from Guizhou Provincial People's Hospital consulted with professors in Beijing and made a specific treatment plan for the baby. After 13 days of treatment, she was cured and discharged together with her mother.
