A corridor of apricot blossom far from the sea

Located in the center of Eurasia, Northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region is the farthest of any land from the sea in the world. With little rainfall, it is also an arid and lifeless place. However, there is one exception: in April in the Ili Kazakh autonomous prefecture, apricot blossoms cannot wait to bloom, declaring the beginning of the flower season.
