Book series on 70-year development of China's philosophy, social sciences published

BEIJING -- A series of books on the development of academic thinking in philosophy and social sciences in contemporary China since the founding of the People's Republic of China have been published.
Revised and released by the China Social Sciences Press, the series includes 20 volumes based on 35 books published from 2008 to 2018 and revisions made by the press this year.
Authors of the books are all senior researchers and famed scholars at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences or top Chinese universities.
The book series shows how academic thinking in philosophy and social sciences was established, developed and prospered over the past 70 years under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China as well as the achievements and experiences from the process, and are of great academic significance, said Xie Fuzhan, president of the CASS, at a symposium on the publication of the series Friday.
