"I remember when I first came into the team, the shoulder injury in the back caused me a big blow, and the condition was too terrible to participate in regular domestic games. However, our coach Chen Zhonghe called me and told me he wouldn't give up as long as I didn't. I am very grateful to him, and there would be no me at the 2004 Athens Olympics without him," Liu Yanan said.
