China releases top journalism awards nominations

BEIJING -- The All-China Journalists Association on Friday announced nominations for the country's top press prizes.
A total of 349 news entries by media outlets including the People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, and some local newspapers received nominations for this year's China Journalism Awards.
The nominated works have been released online and are open to public feedback via telephone calls, fax, mail or email until Oct 10, said the ACJA, adding the final results will be announced at a later date.
