Couple turns containers into charming garden villa
The 38-square-meter villa, which includes a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, an open kitchen and a balcony, can satisfy all basic needs for daily living.
"Solar power can provide electricity for daily use, including a heating device for the extremely cold winter," he said. "After soldering them together, the two containers are also strong enough to withstand heavy rain and wind."
Outside the villa, the couple also built a 300-square-meter garden with flowers, fruit trees and a pavilion.
"The garden villa made from containers can really help us get close to nature," he said. "My two-year-old daughter loves it very much."
"Even though we have to spend most of our time in Jilin city for work and my daughter's education, we hope we can have more chances to enjoy ourselves here in the weekends and holidays in the future," he added.
