1,134 suspects detained in gun, explosives crimes

ZHENGZHOU - A total of 1,134 people have been detained in Central China's Henan province in connection to suspected gun- and explosive-related crimes.
According to the provincial department of public security, beginning this year, a series of crackdowns were conducted to tighten control over guns and explosive items.
So far, police have busted 191 cases related to guns and explosives and 818 cases concerning public security.
The confiscated guns and explosives have been destroyed.
