Over 3,000 types of books exhibited at China's book expo

XI'AN - Over 3,000 types of books are on display at a book exhibition in Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, showcasing the latest achievements of the country's publishing industry.
The exhibition, a major part of the 29th China National Book Expo, features some of the country's most acclaimed publications that either won national book awards or are recommended to young readers.
The themes of the books on display range from thoughts on the country's governance to popular science and children's stories.
The exhibition is hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Press and Publication Bureau at the request of the National Press and Publication Administration and the book expo's organizing committee.
