China issues guidebook on social services for adolescents

BEIJING - China on Friday unveiled the first national guidebook on social services for adolescents.
The guidebook, jointly issued by the Communist Youth League of China Central Committee and the Ministry of Civil Affairs, regulates adolescent social services which include employment support, pre-marriage and love relationship support, rights protection and crime prevention.
The guidebook also stipulates methods of intervention for adolescents with special needs such as accommodation for young people who are deemed not suitable to live with their families.
