Registration of Ezubao fund-raising participants to start: court

BEIJING - A nationwide procedure that verifies and registers participants in fund-raising schemes of online peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platforms Ezubao and zhimajinrong.com is set for July 2 to Aug. 30, 2019, according to a Beijing court notice issued Wednesday.

The Beijing No.1 Intermediate People's Court notice said participants in the schemes can register themselves at specific sites designated for Ezubao case-related registration purposes near their household registration addresses or residence addresses.

Locations of the registration sites will be publicized by local authorities in the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities concerned.

Participants in Ezubao schemes are supposed to clarify particulars regarding personal identity card, contact information and bank accounts during the registration process, the notice said.
