A newly completed mural in Xi'an, capital city of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, is turning lots of heads.
The 200-meter-long wall has been decorated with a series of creative paintings, including cute cartoon images of ladies of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), modern spaceship and rocket as well as Chinese characters.
The mural, created by students from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, presents a perfect combination of ancient and modern characteristics in the city.
It also adds much fun to the street, creating a unique landscape in the city.
Some of the locals want spotlights to be placed to make the paintings visible at night.
