Chinese striker Wang scores a stunner in debut to help PSG win derby

PARIS - Chinese female player Wang Shuang scored a stunning shot in her debut as Paris Saint-Germain crushed city rival Paris FC 5-1 in the French league second round match here on Sunday.
Wang, who reunited with the team this week after finishing runners-up with the Chinese national side at the Jakarta Asiad, saw her powerful shot outside the area past Paris FC's goalkeeper into the net in the 39th minute.
Wang came off the pitch in the 68th minute, when PSG already set up a five-goal lead.
Prior to Wang's spectacular goal, PSG broke the deadlock through Marie-Antoinette Katoto's attempt in the 14th minute.
Leading by two goals into the second half, PSG extended their advantage to five thanks to goals by Grace Geyoro, Kadidiatou Diani and skipper Eve Perisset, but they failed to finish the match with a blank sheet following Perisset's late own goal.
PSG, who snatched consecutive victories in as many as two matches, will visit Soyaux-Charente next Saturday.
