State Council appoints new officials

BEIJING - The State Council, China's cabinet, appointed several senior officials Friday.
Lu Junhua was appointed vice secretary-general of the State Council, replacing Jiang Xiaojuan, said a statement from the State Council.
Lin Rui was appointed assistant minister of public security, replacing Wang Jian.
Guo Wei and Chen Zuxin were appointed vice directors of the Research Office of the State Council, while Xu Siming took the post of vice director of the State Bureau for Letters and Calls.
