Shenzhen offers customized bus services

New user-tailored online bus-hailing services are now being offered in Shenzhen, reports Economic Information Daily.
The "e-bus" service is being run by Shenzhen's Eastern Public Transport Corporation.
Commuters can use an app to book their bus tickets ahead of time. The app also allows them to choose the route they want to take.
The online bus-hailing service is also offering bus drivers a chance to make some extra money.
"By working as a part-time e-bus driver in my spare time, I can earn an additional 2,000 yuan (about $312)", said Liu Yongqian, a bus driver with Shenzhen's Eastern Public Transport Corporation.
Municipal authorities in Shenzhen note the buses being used in the bus-hailing service are the fully-electric buses which were launched in January, 2016.
