Yunnan police seize 17.6 kg heroin

KUNMING - Police in Southwest China's Yunnan province have caught two suspects and seized 17.6 kilograms of heroin, local police said Thursday.
In early May, police in Guangnan county received a tip-off that the drug dealers were planning to bring a large amount of drugs to sell in Xichou county.
The suspects were caught selling the drugs on May 9 near the Xichou county bus station. Police also seized an SUV.
An investigation is ongoing.
