Xian Hui re-elected chairwoman of Ningxia

YINCHUAN -- Xian Hui was re-elected chairwoman of northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region Wednesday.
The election was held at the first session of the 12th Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional People's Congress, the local legislature.
Xian, an ethnic Hui born in 1958, is a native of Dingxi, Gansu province.
She was appointed Ningxia's acting chairwoman in July 2016 and elected its chairwoman in September 2016.
